Katherine Jordan was appointed Second Horn with the New Jersey Symphony for the 2025-26 season. She is also a member of the Boston Ballet Orchestra and previously held the second horn chair with the Sarasota Orchestra. An in-demand performer, Katherine appears regularly with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and has performed with Orchestra of St. Luke’s, New York City Ballet, The Florida Orchestra, the North Carolina Symphony, and the Naples Philharmonic.

Her career has taken her across the globe, with international performances throughout Europe and East Asia. Highlights include tours with Curtis on Tour, the New York Symphonic Ensemble, the Lucerne Festival Academy Orchestra, and, most recently, summer tours with the Met Orchestra in 2023 and 2024.

A passionate chamber musician, Katherine is a founding member of the Gotham Wind Quintet and has collaborated with cutting-edge groups such as NYC’s Talea Ensemble and Alarm Will Sound. During the summer, she shares her love of music with young artists as both a performer and educator at Interlochen Arts Camp.

Ms. Jordan studied under the tutelage of Jennifer Montone, Erik Ralske, and Julie Landsman, and holds degrees from the Curtis Institute of Music and the Juilliard School.
